Frequently asked questions (FAQs)
See below for our frequently asked questions. Clicking on the question will take you to the relevant answer.
WHAT SERVICE DO YOU OFFER?
We are a recruitment agency/staff matchmaking service. This means that we source staff for clients based on their specifications. We specialise in placing staff for households (such as Nannies, Governesses, Housekeepers, PAs etc) and educational staff in private schools. We will discuss our client's staffing needs and then advertise their position, source candidates, complete background checks, conduct shortlisting interviews, check certification and submit suitable candidates to clients for their review.
WHY DO YOU CHARGE A REGISTRATION FEE?
We get dozens of queries each and every day. To ensure that we are investing our time and resources to clients who are genuinely searching for staff, we have implemented a registration fee. Clients will not be charged any other fee until they have made an offer to a candidate - this means that all advertising, administration, staffing costs etc are paid by the agency upfront. The fee by no means covers these costs, but acts as a security deposit towards them. The fee is non-refundable but is deducted from the final placement fee. Should you choose not to employ a candidate from us, there are no additional fees beyond the small registration fee.
HOW MUCH DO YOU COST?
Our fees are completely transparent and can be found clearly outlined on our fees page.
We charge a small registration fee and a final placement fee.
The placement fee is a one time fee calculated on a percentage of your employee's first year's salary.
If you choose to trial a candidate before offering them a contract, a daily fee is also applicable.
Fees for temporary staff (including Maternity Nurses) are charged on a weekly basis and do not incur a final placement fee.
WHAT SALARY CAN I EXPECT TO PAY MY STAFF?
Take a look at our "Services" pages where you can see job descriptions and salary estimates for each job role we offer.
Salaries are dependant on experience, qualification, job requirements (such as hours, responsibilities) and location.
Ultimately you will decide what to pay your staff - we can advise on the best salary to offer in order to attract the talent that you are looking for.
WHEN WILL I PAY THE PLACEMENT FEE?
The placement fee will only be invoiced once you have chosen a member of staff and agreed on a contract with them.
If you do not choose a member of staff, you will not be charged a placement fee.
Please note that any attempts to avoid paying the placement fee, such as contacting candidates we've referred to you with offers of employment, will cause us to take legal action as per our terms & conditions.
